The Centre at Salisbury is the only regional mall on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. From its location at Route 13 and the Route 50 / Route 13 bypass in Wicomico County—the retail hub of the Delmarva Peninsula— the mall dominates an unusually large market which encompasses nine counties in Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. The influx of tourists to the nearby beach resorts of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia increases the population of the center’s market area. Ocean City alone draws over 400,000 tourists per week from June through August.

With sales on the rise, The Centre at Salisbury serves this market with a strong anchor mix that includes a new 16-screen Regal Cinema and Dick’s Sporting Goods. The anchors are joined by nearly 100 shops and sit-down restaurants, as well as a 10-unit food court. New retailers opened in the past two years include Aeropostale, Hollister, Yankee Candle and Zale’s, while expansions were completed by such existing merchants as American Eagle, JB Robinson Jewelers, Kay Jewelers, PacSun, and Victoria’s Secret. In connection with the theater addition, opportunities are being created on the mall’s exterior for complementary restaurants and other uses in a new 12,000-square-foot building that will adjoin Regal, as well as a pair of new 7,500-square-foot pad sites that are available for development.
